Why Occupational Therapy?

Occupational Therapy for anyone and everyone! At Kayla And Kids, our primary focus is children and their families, however people of all ages our welcome. The following are common areas of need that can be addressed through Occupational Therapy to improve daily functioning:

At Kayla And Kids, we encourage early assessment at first sign of difficulties as evidence supports early intervention for faster and more effective progress. Referrals are welcome from parents, teachers, family members, and other professionals. Occupational Therapists do not diagnose, however will refer out to the appropriate professional if further assessment is needed. Common diagnosis that require Paediatric Occupational Therapy include (but is not limited to):
